If you visit the official website: http://www.nusajayacity.com/
They are going to tell you Nusajaya is "The world in one city", is the reality so?
Before I touch on the marketing part, let me give you a brief introduction of Nusajaya:
It was launched in 2006 inline with the Iskandar Malaysia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iskandar_Malaysia).
The biggest developer in Nusajaya is the government linked UEM Land, which is also a public listed and a big time developer in Malaysia (I have already mentioned government linked didn't I?).
The idea of Nusajaya that created the hype and attention gradually is because it was a piece of empty land, now being planned and constructed into a city that comprises of all the latest and greatest facilities.
If you ask me, Nusajaya is like a Johor Bahru Second Chance since the downtown JB has long been known for it's crime rate, low cleanliness and traffic congestion. Nusajaya will be a good opportunity to showcase JB in the world stage, making JB livable, vibrant and attract more foreign investment.
Looking at the overall master plan, Nusajaya has healthcare, education, industrial, government, golf , shopping, retirement, harbor and entertainment planned which really get me excited and think it is viable in the long run since it has all the income generating opportunity in this city.
For more update on Nusajaya, stay tune with my blog! :-)
